How to Build a Pivot Table to View User Engagement?

Here are some steps to consider when reporting on "search by" activity by user on a monthly basis:

  1. Click on the "My Account" tab and select Account Settings
  2. Click on the "Lookups" option from the left pane
  3. Choose a specific time frame from the date range section
  4. Click on "Export CSV" under the Web pane
  5. Open the CSV file sent to you via email
  6. "Select All" the data
  7. On the Excel menu, select "Insert" and choose "Pivot Table" (as seen below)

  8. Next, click "OK" on the pop-up window

  9.  Then, another pop-up window with field names will appear. Simply drag and drop values like the below example:

  10. Finally, your pivot table will display like this:
